About the Pacific Legends

Alexandria Corn
Our Story
Pacific Legends is a Polynesian dance group based in Lompoc, California, dedicated to sharing the beauty of hula and cultural expression with dancers of all ages.

Originally formed as a beloved local group, Pacific Legends provided a space for youth and families to learn, perform, and grow together through the traditions of hula, drumming, and aloha spirit. After disbanding in 2020, the heartbeat of the group never fully faded—it simply paused.

Now, with deep respect for the original leaders and dancers, we’re honored to bring Pacific Legends back to life.
Honoring Our Founders and Previous Leadership
Michelle laid the foundation for what Pacific Legends became—an ‘ohana rooted in love, culture, and connection. As the group grew, Gina played a vital role in supporting and nurturing that foundation. Her care, presence, and leadership helped shape the warmth and community spirit that made Pacific Legends feel like home.

We are deeply grateful to Michelle, Julie, Gina, and others for the legacy they created. It is with respect, love, and aloha that we continue what they started.
Meet Our Team
The Pacific Legends is currently building a new team, bringing years of experience as a students, performers, and cultural advocates. With a mission to blend tradition and community, our team is focused on providing a welcoming space for all dancers to feel connected, confident, and seen.

Director and Instructor
Kaliani Diaz
Programs Assistant
Kaliani (Kali for short) is a proud half-Filipino, half-Laotian born and raised in Lompoc, CA. Kaliani was a former Legend for 12 years and is happy to be back serving as the Programs Assistant. She plays a key role in supporting the vision and flow of the organization.
Known as the Director's right-hand woman, Kaliani is always behind the scenes organizing, coordinating, and spreading love with all. She's passionate about creating opportunities for the community, especially for those looking into trying something new. Kaliani is so excited to meet new friends and build a strong sense of girlhood while building bonds rooted in sisterhood, connection, and shared joy. Outside her work she enjoys shopping, sweet treats, and music!
Jolene Moreno

Jolene (Jo for short) is a proud alumni of Pacific Legends who joined when she was just 8 years old. She is so excited to be back as Practice Operations Assistant to assist in practice check in, practice reminders/notifications, and overall help in speading the love and positivity of Pacific Legends. It warms her heart to see the Legends coming back and she is looking forward to watching the group grow and become a family like it once was.
In her spare time she likes to dance various other styles such as Hip-Hop, Jazz, Ballet, and Modern. As well as do hikes with her family and spending time with her friends!
Annie Rivera
Accounts and Enrollment Lead
Annie serves as our Accounts and Enrollment Lead, supporting families with registration, tuition, and dancer records. A former high school dance team member, Annie is excited to begin a new chapter in her dance journey with Pacific Legends. She’s passionate about helping behind the scenes and making sure families feel supported every step of the way.

When she’s not dancing, Annie works as a veterinary technician—caring for animals with just as much heart as she brings to our team.
Kortnie Diaz
Age Group Coordinator (Ages 3.5-12)
Kortnie is our Age Group Coordinator and a proud former Little Legend returning to Pacific Legends with a full heart and a big smile. At 14 years old, she brings a playful, gentle spirit to our Friday classes, where she assists with our Tiny and Little Legends as a teacher’s assistant and mentor, like a big sister to the keiki in class. Kortnie is excited to return to the dance floor and help younger dancers feel confident and cared for.

Outside of Pacific Legends, she enjoys hanging out with friends, listening to music, and expressing herself through fashion and creativity. She’s thrilled to reconnect with the Pacific Legends and continue her journey dancing.
